This is my third Hanns G 28" 1200 x 1920 monitor. They are one of the most hi res monitors out there, 1200 x 1920. The down side is on all three there have been stuck pixels. They are not very noticeable but when you spend almost $300.00 for a brand new monitor it would be nice if there weren't any bad pixels at all.

I purchased this monitor to replace an older Hanns-G 28 inch monitor. I am not sure what happened at Hanns-G over the past few years, but the sharpness of this monitor for reading text is pretty bad (and yes.. I have a top of the line Video Card). The overall picture of my older Hanns-G was MUCH better and clearer. I am disappointed and would have returned it, but I just turned it into a desktop tv and have it hooked up into my Directv receiver. I know... I could have just bought a TV to use and returned it, but me being a typical guy, as long as there is a use for it and it IS already on my desk, it will stay. I would not recommend this as a computer monitor. There are MANY better monitors on the market for the same price.

I've had this thing for about two and a half years. I can't complain much-- I used it for two years without many problems. It had pretty good quality and was a reasonable price. I had some headaches from using it (literally), but I probably a) was way too close to the monitor and b) had a profession that caused major eye strain. I used it was my main monitor for 2 years, and enjoyed the HDMI and VGA inputs. I could use my computer for a while, then quickly switch over to my PS3 without having to reconnect anything, which I really appreciated.

Maybe 8 months ago, I stopped using it as my main monitor, and only used it for my PS3. Not long after that, it started having overheating issues: the screen would literally just turn blank after an hour of use. I could turn the monitor off and back on, and not have any issues for a bit, then it'd black out again. It's annoying to watch a Netflix movie with your girlfriend and have to turn the TV on/off three times to finish the movie. Because of that, I won't be purchasing this model again, although I would say that I don't regret the purchase. It works well, but there's probably something better out there.
